Annual scholarships awarded to two-South Carolina students pursuing degrees specific to international trade or a related course of study.
The Woman of the Year award presented to a highly respected, female, South Carolina resident whom has enhanced the status of women and has made a significant contribution that has positively impacted the international trade community.
The College of Charleston's Global Business Resource Center/ CWIT joint ""mentoring program"", connecting students with experienced professionals."
The Annual Banquet, CWIT's premier evening event held each year in April, where we celebrate CWIT's mission, scholarship and WOTY recipients, members and guests, and our board of directors.
The annual silent auction, CWIT's primary fundraising event held each Fall.
Nine monthly luncheon programs that provide networking and professional development opportunities for CWIT members and guests.
Several member appreciation events throughout the program year, which foster relationship building.
Membership and participation in the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT), CWIT's parent organization.
Administrative expenses, to include: CPA contracted services for tax returns, banking charges, website fees, historian supplies, and insurance premiums for liability and Directors and Officers insurance policies.
Annual two-day strategic planning board retreat held each summer.
Board participation in the National Transportation Week, the Center for Women, S.C International Trade Conference, and other events. |
