Founded in 2001, our mission is to enhance the status of women employed in the field of international trade by presenting educational and networking opportunities to benefit common goals. |

| CWIT hosts monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month from September through June. The purpose of these meetings is to enlighten attendees on various topics affecting international trade, and to provide professional networking opportunities. |

| Attendance averages over 85 members and guests, and non-members are encourage to attend. Meetings start at 11:45 a.m., end at 1:30 p.m., and include a 15 minute "networking with speaker" time. Visit our calendar page to find out about our upcoming events. |

| CWIT is the South Carolina chapter of the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT) on the web at www.owit.org an organization with over 2,000 members worldwide, and operating since the early 1980's. |

| CWIT members are professionals from many industries and business sectors, including banking and finance, public relations, education, government and diplomacy, brokers and forwarders, customs and trade law, sales and marketing, import/export logistics, maritime service providers, technology, transportation, and other trade-related services. |
